Shockingly, a May 7 execution date has been set for Willie Jerome Manning by the Mississippi State Court, despite the very serious issues that are unresolved across both his cases (which were held in the same area, with the same prosecutor).

Incredibly, the very missed deadline that is preventing Willie from presenting his arguments, was in fact not Willie’s fault, but was brought about by the State.

In a letter that we’ve received from Willie today, he says,

“We must think of the victims’ families, who’ve had to deal with the loss of a loved one in such a tragic and horrible way. My heart goes out to them.”
